ARK Animal Encounters

11:30 AM - 12:30 PM
CRDL - Tate Memorial Library

Event Details

Earth is one of eight planets in our solar system that rotates around the sun. As it turns in space, the side closest to the sun receives light, which we call day. The side furthest from the sun is dark, which we call night. Most animals on Earth, including humans, are affected by this light and dark cycle.  We'll meet Diurnal, Nocturnal, and Crepuscular animals, and discover how they've adapted to live during different periods of the light and dark cycles, as the Earth turns from day to night, and back again.
